Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear, warm amber - head dissipates very fast. Nuts, syrup and booze in the nose. Rich body, low carbonation, again nuts and sugar. The alcohol is a bit too prominent, and the beer lacks some body to balance the booze. But not a bad stab at a British-style Barley Wine. 080115

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear amber with a head that dissipates very quickly. Amazing aroma of noble rot, figs and syrup - very little yeast. Rich, fat body - very low carbonation. Again lots of syrup and noble rot, sweet decay. Oxidized port wine accents - actually this feels almost like a sweet wine with some late, subdued hops. Warming alcohol finish. Lovely indeed. This is how I want my Belgian style beers. 081115

Bottle, 10%. Mild, but fat fruit aroma, has a little malt syrup to it. Clear dark amber colour. Small off-white head. The flavour is malty, has some vanilla and a distinct alcohol note. The alcohol is quite bitter in the aftertaste, but overall, the beer is good. A little green, perhaps. I would give a year at least and more likely two in my cellar if I had had a few more.

Bottle @ Wannsinchen / MiP bliver gammel. Pours slightly hazy ruby / copper brown with small off-white head. Clear, sweet aroma of sugar and caramel malt, with fruity touches. Sweet flavour of fruit and caramel malt, with notes of alcohol and some sourish touches. Bitter and sourish aftertaste. Thick but not quite satisfactory. Warming alcohol presence. A nice try. #3200.

Bottle, 10.5%. Good dried fruit aroma, seems a little oxidised. Almost clear dark red amber colour. Small unstable off-white head. The flavour is is sweet and vinous with a good caramelly note and a little vanilla. Ends on a papery vanilla note with a good dose of alcohol. Late alcohol burn, pleasant and warming.
