On tap at the Strugglers Inn, Lincoln. golden colour with a thick white head. Aroma sherbet lemon and light malty caramel. Taste is light sweet to balanced bitter sweet. really drinkable.

Bottle from the Fat Cat, Norwich. Poured dark brown with a small, off-white head. Aroma is malty, caramel, lightly roasted, and molasses. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation.

Taste comprises straw, orange marmalade, bread dough, pale malts, grains. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with a light hop flicker. Ok pale.

Cask at the Fat Cat Brewery Tap, Norwich, 20/11/16. Chestnut brown with a decent beige cap. Nose is biscuit, toffee, spice, brown bread, nutty tones. Taste comprises toffee, brown bread, toasted sugar, light smoke, biscuit malt. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, light bitterings in the close. Decent flavoursome stuff ... solid for style.
