Reviewed from notes. Growler share with Henry.
My portion was poured into a mug.
The appearance was a murky brown color with a finger’s worth of eggshell white semi-foamy head that fell off at a decent pace. Nice rings of lace.
The aroma started with a nice blend of sweet oats to honey and then developed in with some earthy sweet to bitter malts. Hops seem to include some earthy, grassy and slightly citrusy effects.
The flavor blended all of those previously mentioned aromas together fairly nice. Aftertaste seemed to lean into the earthiness of the malts and hops but gently spreads some of the honey in to mildly follow through in the finish.
The feel was about medium bodied, perhaps just a tad under with a good carbonation and ABV. Oats and honey create a nice smoothness rolling over my tongue.
Overall, really nice brown ale well worthy of having again.

Growler from Dave.
This was poured into a mug.
The appearance was a dark brown close to black color with a finger’s worth of off white foamy head that dissipated at a decent pace. Moderate messy lace.
The aroma had a nice blend of sweet mocha, some milk chocolate, some nuts and just a touch of roast at the back end.
The flavor blends all of the previously mentioned aromas together fairly nice and brings in a light toast to play with the aftertaste and slide into the finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Good carbonation. ABV felt appropriate and though a sweet stout, the balance of \"sweet\" seemed a bit more \"reserved\" than some other \"sweet stouts\" I’ve had.
Overall, wonderful dessert beer well worth my time.

This was poured into a nonic pint glass.
The appearance was a rugged semi-dark brown color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that dissipated at a good pace. Ample messy lace.
The aroma had a soft semi-sweet to roasty nuttiness up front and then some dark and sweet chocolate malts doing a decent job of balancing.
The flavor leans slightly to the sweetness. Nice blended roast to sweet aftertaste and finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Good carbonation. ABV felt appropriate.
Overall, nicely done brown ale leaning towards the English side, slightly.
