Bottle, bought at the brewery. Pale blonde color. Hoppy, flowery, malty aroma and flavor with some boiled milk. Flowery hopbitter aftertaste. Good small brewery pilsener, medium bodied and with a pleasant nutty and herbal mouthfeel.

(draught at the brewpub) Slightly hazy, deep golden colour with a mid-sized and slightly off-white foamy head. Sweet and bready (cara-)malty aroma with a whiff of barnyard. Sweet and slightly bitter flavour, medium to full bodied with a soft carbonation. Smooth and solid cara-malty base with notes of biscuits and bread, accompanied by mildly herbal accents; rounded malty and herbal hoppy finish with shades of barnyard and a well-embedded alcoholic strength. Balanced and rural Bock. 10.XI.12

Vom Faß bei Düll, Gnodstadt. - Goldgelb, klar; üppige Schaumkrone. - Sehr milde Nase: helles Malz, Sahnebonbons, Waldhonig, Kräutertee.

*Old rating, best before 25.05.04. Crate bought directly at the brewery (as they didn’t sold single bottles...). Mild-herbes, hopfig-grasiges Bier. Intensive Bittertöne, schön weicher Malzkörper. Lecker!
