bottle from Galerie Piva, Prague, near Charles Bridge. Golden with a white head. Malty start, some shy, decent hops. Bitter-sweet character. Not exciting, but a decent lager.

bottle from a little bottle shop near Pohorelec, Hradcany, Praha. Clear golden with a tall white head. Fresh, green Saaz hop aroma. Medium-bodied with a pleasant, good malty base. Delicioous fresh Saaz hops present throughout, lingering hoppy finish. Exceptionally well balanced. Classic Czech lager with an extra touch of good, good hops. Anytime again!

Aug. ’16. A 0.5 l can, Marko’s, past BB date probably waiting for me, thanks! It poured a golden body with a big head. Grainy and lightly herbal aroma. Flavor was mildly bitter with herbal hop and straw malts, light honey popped in here and there. Medium bodied with moderately long finish, herbal and grainy. Actually better than it might sound like, herbal notes were decent, it’s an OK pale lager. Didn’t lost anything waiting and breaking BB date.

crystal clear darker golden colour, minimal white head, which fully (!!!!!) disappears within a few minutes - not even a thin layer, or lacing remains! aroma of grains, some herbal, metallic and cardboard notes; taste is the same with spicy aftertaste; very watery; nothing special, but can be drunk if you are thirsty

Long lost can, shared with heavy. Golden body, white head. Very mild, dusty aroma. Watery, empty taste, mild herbal, vaguely tart touches, a tad of stale maltiness. Eh, OK stuff but will rerate.

Dieses Bier habe ich nicht mit den anderen gemeinsam bei einer Brauereiführung getrunken, sondern einige Jahre später im Supermarkt gefunden. Es dürfte gebraut worden sein, um ein bisschen in den Premium-Markt hineinzustochern. So hat es ein wirklich vollen, malzigen Körper und auch einige Hopfige Spitzen. Allein an der Ausgewogenheit mangelt es. So sind zwar einige nette Aromen zu finden, aber diese passen nicht wirklich zusammen und man bekommt eine süß-saure Sauce, die man erst einmal mit einem Bier runterspülen muss.
