Somewhat red in colour, but basically golden. I immediately flagged down the waiter and asked if this was the correct beer, but it was. The smell was nothing great, just a typical ale. No large presence of hops nor malt in this beer, just an average amount of a decent tasting beer. Aftertaste was acceptable as well. Could use a little work, but is better than any Macrobrew at anytime of day. Tasted at RT's in Court House (Arlington), Virginia.

Smells like some extra spices, and nice golden brown colour! Nice sweet-spicey taste...somewhat mild! Sampled on Tap in the B Concourse (at the Dominion Brewing Company) in Dulles (IAD) Airport in Washington.

Looks like a mixed black & tan...no surprise there...smells like a straight ale. A very bland beer with no great aftertaste!

Very black. Sweet coffeeish palate. Could use more body, a bit watery.......

Maibock? Light bronze, lightly fruity, spritzy. Really not much to this at all. I wouldn't say that it is strong enough to be a maibock, nor malty enough.
