(Bottle 50 cl) Hazy, pale golden with a gigantic, white head that leaves a pretty, laced pattern as it slowly dissipates. Aroma is one of citrus and yeast. Medium body, a little flat in the mouthfeel, rather sweet with some citrus. No bitterness. 180907

(Bottle 50 cl) Clear, golden with a dense, white head leaving laces. Clean and malty aroma. Medium body, lightly sweet, clean malt and a very discreet bitterness. Fairly pleasant. 180907

50 cL bottle. Pours slight hazy yellow with a white head. Distinct bubblegum ad banana aroma, slight wheaty. Sweet wheaty flavour, surprisingly sweet actually. Finish has a lasting fruity note.

50 cL bottle. Pours golden, clear, yellow with a lacing head. Grainy and grassy nose. Slight sweet, mouldy and with a grainy cornish flavour note. Ends malty and slight fruity. Good to nice.

Light blond color. Plain aroma of common lager (hay; boiling pasta). The flavor is common too, a bit worse possibly. Watery finish.

Hazy light blond color; eggwhite-like head. Light aroma, some plastic. Light mouthfeel, very bad mix of metallic and plastic sensation (even if light), and hidden behind there is some banana too, and sweetness. Bad.

Bottled at Monk’s Café, Stockholm. Clear amber, rich head. Interesting aroma with dust, husk, flowers, hay and caramel. Medium sweet with some surprising smoke and above medium body. Malt driven and well rounded with some grain and butter. Low bitterness. Lovely quaffable beer in the festbier tradition.

Bottle, 5.4%. Quite malty and slightly dusty aroma. Very dark brown colour, not really bernstein IMO. Big, frothy light brown head. The flavour is rather malty, roasted dark malts. Also has a little smoked horse flavour. Rather good combination. Thin to medium mouthfeel and medium to high carbonation. Nothing exciting, but well-balanced and probably good for sessions.

Bottle, 5.2%. Good banana aroma. Cloudy yellow colour. Very big, stable white head. The flavour is wheaty with banana and citrus in good balance. I do not get any clove or other spicy esters. Good, wheaty mouthfeel, a bit thick. Prickly carbonation. A good example of a German Hefeweizen.
