Wässrig getreideiger, konstant herber Beginn, fehlerfrei aber langweilig. Dann angenehm hellmalzig und leicht bitter werdend, rund. Kurzer getreidiger Abgang. Mehr bayersich hell als Pils. 8/9/9/9/6/9

500ml bottle, 5.2 % abv, shared by djoeye. Snow white head leaving lacing rings down the glass. Clear golden body. Grassy nose, mid-dry. Hints of caramel sweetness to the taste profile together with grass and bread. Mid-sweet malty finish. Soft in the mouth. Accepted. (PivotekaH7, Tromsø 29.01.2018).

Pours orange from the bottle with a huge, foamy head that rapidly settles. The aroma is banana, fresh corn, hints of rubber. Taste is banana sweet, turning lightly tart with hints of lemon at the finish. Body is medium, but light watery hints come through at time, and on top of this the alcohol is not perfectly hidden. So overall, a beer with a few flaws and a bit below average for the style, but not a disaster. I had no problems finishing the bottle.

Bottle shared on the train from Sulzbach Rosenberg to Nuremberg during the Bamberg Jolly. Pours clear, pale yellow with a foamy white head. Simple lager, with mild cereal notes, nips of paper, dry hay. Light bodied with average carbonation. Moderately sweet on the finish, more cereal, some husk. So so.

500ml bottle: BBD 2nd Jun 15. Obtained from Cotteridge Wines and opened at home on 2nd Feb 15: poured into a straight sided UK pint sleeve (Forster’s badged). Looked good, clear, bright, clean and golden, on top a deep full white blanket of tight bubbles, carbonation bubbles rising through the body. Sweet and fairly grainy, grass notes in aroma and taste, slightly bitter finish. I liked it, even if it was a little one dimensional in flavour and interest. Sharp, crisp and refreshing, like a beer in this style should be.
