Reviewed from notes as this was another after hockey beer from over the years and has been poured in various beer drinking vessels and consumed multiple times in the bottle itself.
The appearance was a super light yellow color with a carbonation rising at a quick pace. The white foamy head quickly dies to nothing over top of the glass.
The smell was sweet corn.
The taste was sweet corn and it comes across extremely watery.
The palate is extremely light and sessionable.
Overall, its another Light Lager. It does what it does and doesn’t offend.

Good ol’ after hockey beer from a time ago.
Anyways, I’ve had this more than enough times in my life.
Here goes, in various beer drinking vessels and straight from the bottle as well.
The appearance was a straight up pale yellow color with a vast array of carbonation bubbles rising into a one finger white foamy head that quickly dies.
The smell leaves a ton to be desired, but I do get some light sweet corn adjuncts.
The taste was sweet corn. There was no aftertaste nor finish.
On the palate, it sat extremely light and sessionable. Carbonation seemed appropriate for the Light Lager style.
Overall, its a Light Lager - it does what its supposed to do and nothing else.

Not sure why they had to release an Ice version of their James Ready 6.0, but it is here (and reminds me of the early 90s with all of these Ice brews). Pours a light golden colour, clean, with a white head, average retention and some good sticky-dirty lacing. Decent aromas of malts, corn and hops, all balanced with some sour citrus hints. Grainy malt taste, not too sweet and with a little hop in the background. Nothing really offensive and you still get some aftertaste (honey) for an Ice beer. Surprisingly not much corn, or at least not as apparent as beer of this caliber.

350ml bottle, TGI Fridays, Halifax. Pours clear straw yellow, no head. Corn aromas, light sweet taste. Forgettable.
