Orange brown color, cloudy, frothy lasting head. Fruity aroma (pear, banana, mango) and flavor. Just a touch of yeast and tartness. Likeable and a bit above average dunkel weizen.

Malty biscuit aroma. Sweet, malty flavor with some peach and cookies. A hint of butter and a hint of bitterness in the afteratste. Not the best maibock, but good enough.

Fairly herbal with a hint of butter and banana. Bitter yeasty aftertaste. The yeastiness and herbalness hide the sweetness. Not my favorite.

Amber color, so fairly light colored for a dunkel weizenbier. Caramel aroma and flavor. Sweetish with banana. Has some characteristics of a Bavarian Dunkel.

Swing top bottle. Opens with a bang. Cloudy with a big creamy head. Flowery aroma with honey and wheat. Sweetish flavor with citrus, honey and banana. Refreshing, but a bit thin.(02.09.2003)
