750 mL bottle from Market Street Wineshop. What an oddly shaped bottle. Pours a hazy chestnut brown with a large head, moderate retention and not so great lacing. Aroma of apples, berries and caramel. Taste is nutty with big spicy notes... nutmeg, anise, others. Some caramel and fruit notes as well. Medium bodied. Interesting.

Bottled. An unclear golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma is sweet wheaty and malty and so is the flavor.

(Bottle 33 cl) Courtesy of Hildigöltur. Pours a hazy, pale golden with a white head that leaves some laceework. Fresh aroma of citrus and flowers. Medium-bodied, sweet, pale malts and a whiff of flowers. A little yestiness also. The finish is dry. 191207

Blond to gold color, frothy head. Paper and corn aroma, not nice; some citrus fruitness; a lot of carbonic gas in the nose. Acid, turning to be drier, but it doesn't seem to be spoiled. Light flavor, but quite refreshing, even if it doesn't have a real wheat character.

Nice copper color. Strange aroms, like stuffed vegetables; some malt and a light sourness. Pleasant, but sour; was it intended? Quite dry, thin malt, quite balanced final.

Golden color, big head. Nose of hops, vinegar, grapes, carbonic acid, cellar. Uninteresting flavor, clean, dry, too sour (probably an infection). I can perceive some hops at the end.

Bottled. Nut brown, hazy. Aroma of burnt sugar with notes of ginger and other spices. Sweet and malty, some crystal malt flavour. Low bitterness. Flavourful and enjoyable.

Golden, hazy colour. Huge, dense head; looks like a Belgian ale. Neutral, somewhat sweet, fruity aroma. Thick mouthfeel. Neutral flavour. Dry finish. Drinkable but not exciting.

Beautiful amber colour, somewhat hazy. Huge head. Aroma starts of in a light, almost Wit-like way with some burnt toffee in the background. When the beer gets warmer a piney resin aroma gets more and more dominant. Flavour is piney with some alcohol in the background. Bitter finish. A complex but somewhat unbalanced beer.
