[50cl bottle from Westholme Stores, Goring.] Hazy amber with a thin white head - grainy aroma - soft herbal flavour with some grapefruit citrus undertones - rather thin and watery, and with a medicinal finish. Disappointing.

Bottle at White Horse, Parsons Green, London, 22 Nov 2008. Dark amber colour with brief, white head. Malty, fruity nose with dried fruit, nuts and earthy hops. Fruity, malty taste with notes of orange, apricots, biscuity malt and a balanced citrussy bitterness in a fairly dry finish. Nice balance between malt and hops. Well made and tasty.

50cl Bottle bought @ de Schans. Hazy amber/orange with a thin white head. Aroma of hops, grapefruit, some caramel and malts. Flavour is soft, hoppy, grapefruit, both American and English hops blend in in a nice balance. Slightly sweet, but overall very neutral and unoffensive, just a bit thin. Enjoyable though.

(Draught at Kaisla, Helsinki, on 2008-09-19) Amber. Clear. Medium sized quickly disappearing white head. Fruity grassy and malty nose. Full bodied dryish palate with quite a lot of carbonation. Hops, grass, salty liquorice, malts and some vegetable flavours in taste. Long lasting surprisingly soft and bitter aftertaste. Not bad at all.

Hoppier than expected, along with biscuit malts, and light citrus notes. Active carbonation. Reminded me of a light American Pale Ale. Very enjoyable, but I won’t reach for it when I’m in the mood for a bitter.
