Cask at GBBF 25. Hazy-opaque orange gold. Thick frothy foamy white head. Aroma has a picture of spice and sweet fruit. Flavourwise it is similar to the aroma but more restrained- spiced citrus. Light-medium bodied. Slick to creamy. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. Nice.

10/10/2024. Cask at Nottingham Beer & Cider Festival 2024. Pours very dark brown with a small bubbly beige head. Aroma is coffee, dark fruits, woody, roasted malt, chocolate, nut plastic, alcohol. Medium sweetness, bitterness and body. Smooth, soft carbonation. Boozy coffee finish. Quite decent but lacked some oomph.

Brewery draught, 7/6/24. Lemony-brass. White head slowly to ring. Clear. Lemony-fruity Motueka and soft, honeyish malts character. Low acidity. Quite malty and fruity. Clean. Lemony with playful fruits, good bitterness and malt balance, drying out in the end with cracker and biscuit. Not an intense amount of hop flavor, but very competent and clean.

Luke at the brewery, 7/6/24. Lighter example. Golden-brass with light bronze. Small, white head. Mostly base malt with a hint of toast and caramel from the smaller specialty malt addition. Clean, malty, crisp and spicy. Soft, malty, hint of toast but spating, which is great. I like this approach to the style far more than to be blasted with toast, wood and caramel. Clean, malty, gently herbal, drier finish with good yeast.
