RBESG 2016 in Barcelona. On tap at Abirradero. Hazy very pale yellow colour. Aroma and flavour of lemons, lactic acid and a hint of salt / sea water. Light bodied, refreshing. A fairly decent gose.

Sunday, 10th July 2016. Sat outside Abirradero, Barcelona with the RBESG guys: on-tap. Golden pour, white head. Fruity brew with an aroma like a tropical fruit bowl sprinkled with caster sugar and mixed herbs: taste similar, more herbal more citrusy, less sweetness.

Sunday, 10th July 2016. Sat outside Abirradero, Barcelona with the RBESG guys: on-tap. Decent enough Lager, golden in colour, unlasting white head and a slight citrus leaning to the whole thing. Semi-sweet grains in the flavour also: one of the few ’clear beers’ we had while taking in the tapped beers at Abirradero.

Sunday, 10th July 2016. Sat outside Abirradero, Barcelona with the RBESG guys: on-tap. Advertised as ’Sour 2 Years’ or something similar. Side by side with the original ’base’ beer this was also floral and herbal in the aroma with honey forcing itself to the fore in both the nose and taste: however this was a sour puss of a beer with an acidic feel from the first sniff to the final lingering aftertaste: not my cup of tea.

Sunday, 10th July 2016. Sat outside Abirradero, Barcelona with the RBESG guys: on-tap. Off-white topping on a hazy golden pour. Floral, herbal nose with a honey trace: luckily no Bees around in Barcelona that day. Taste similar, the honey asserting itself towards the semi-sweet finish: a bit strange.

Sunday, 10th July 2016. Sat outside Abirradero, Barcelona with the RBESG guys: on-tap. Small white sat on a golden bodied brew. Nose is floral, herbal and slightly malty, taste is fruitier than the aroma suggests. Decent enough.

Sunday, 10th July 2016. Sat outside Abirradero, Barcelona with the RBESG guys: on-tap. Hazy pour, light yellow, white topping. Citra hops rule the nose and taste of this semi-sour brew: not really my thing. Scored objectively.

Sunday, 10th July 2016. Sat outside Abirradero, Barcelona with the RBESG guys: on-tap. Golden orange pour, off-white top. Floral nose with a tropical fruit ester ot two. Slight citrusy leaning in the taste, pink grapefruit maybe. Not usually a single hop man, but Equinox is better than most for that sort of thing if you must brew with only one hop variety.

Sunday, 10th July 2016. Sat outside Abirradero, Barcelona with the RBESG guys: on-tap. Light amber with a pink hue to the hazy body, thin white topping. Grapefruits in the nose and taste, sour and almost puckering in it’s tartness. Acidic and not for me: a real sour puss of a beer.
