(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a blond and fluffy foam. Dusty, sweet malty and slightly grainy aroma with doughy notes and shades of spicy hops in the background. Sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a calm carbonation. Minimally grainy and doughy malt character with herbal and slightly grassy hops; rather dry and mildly bitter hoppy finish. A cheap but solid Ur-Oettinger. 29.IV.12

Can in the hotel in Bologna, at 4.3%. Pours clear, vague yellow with a small, foamy white head. Very weak, almost non-existent aroma. Perhaps some cereal. Lightly sweet but very watery flavor with bland crackers, hay and cereal. Light bodied with fine, fizzy carbonation. There’s some surprisingly grassy, lasting bitterness that comes through in the finish, but overall the beer is pretty uninteresting and lacks any discernible flavor.

Can. As "Gralsburg Bier". 4.3%. Clear golden color with a massive fluffy white head. Aroma of some graininess and some hops, slightly grassy, slightly metallic. A pretty clean (bland?) flavor that starts a bit sweetish and continues bitter with a bit of hops and metallic hints. Pretty light-bodied. Drinkable.
