33cl bottle from a trade with kevnic2008, many thanks! Pours hazy pale golden colour with a huge most good lasting white head. Aroma of light wheat malt, grains, yeast. Taste of grainy mild sweet malt, grassy bitter hops, yeasty.

Many thanks to kevnic2008 for this 33cl bottle. Smooth malty beginning. Fresh round, malty grainy aftertaste with a bit of unround bitterness. Smooth, fresh, interesting.

500ml bottle [Thanks to bartlebier for giving access to the beers (including this one, of course) from Elzacher Löwenbräu!]. Hazy, yellow-ish golden colour with average to huge, frothy, more or less white head. Slightly sweat-ish, bready aroma, some yeasty, spicy notes, hints of baked apple and baked banana. Taste is minimally tart with herbal hoppy overtones, wheaty, subtle sweetness, a touch of banana, quite watery, almost Kristallweizen-like. A bit anaemic and not much of a yeast-profile.

500ml bottle [another local from bartlebier, thank you!]. Clear golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Grainy, minimally strawy aroma, a cautious muggy touch of wet straw, fresh grassy hoppy overtones. Taste is pale malty with very subtle sweetness, minimally grainy spicy, a cautious touch of hay, grassy hoppy overtones with a cautious lemon touch. If I had tasted this blind, I would have expected to come upon a hazy beer.

330ml bottle [thank you very much for this one, bartlebier!]. Hazy golden colour with average to huge, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Spicy, grainy aroma, hints of hay, husk, protein, hoppy overtones with a lemon touch, a very cautious "green" note in lime direction, wwithout the citrusy parts. Taste is grainy, spicy hints of hay, husk, a lemon dash; minimally watery. Refreshing, nicely raw and natural.

500ml bottle [hunted down by bartlebier, now decorating my fireplace, thanks!] Clear, yellow-ish golden colour with small to average, frothy to macropore, rapidly diminishing, minimally lacing, white head. Nice, decently fresh hoppy aroma, slightly grassy and floral, minimally metallic, pale malty background. Taste is slightly floral hoppy, minimally grassy, minimally metallic, sweet-ish, pale malty basis. Typical sweet-ish South-German Pilsener.

500ml bottle [due to bartlebier’s serendipity and cordial relinquishing, thank you very much!]. Clear, hazelnut brown colour with huge, thick, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, off-white to beige head. Slightly bready, nuttily malty aroma, "leafy" hoppy overtones, a touch of tobacco, moss, rotting wood. Taste is minimally nuttily malty with subtle toffee sweetness, an earthy chestnut touch, slightly grassy and "leafy" hoppy overtones with a fresh, lemon-like touch. Well balanced, earthy - genuine Dunkel interpretation.
