Bügelverschlußflasche (purchased at the brewery): Visible carbonation, mid-sized to bigger, firm, beaten egg-white-like head, golden coloured, only a bit hazy; citrousy-clovey nose with a good dash of yeast and wheat; sweetish-sourish flavour, quite light bodied; sourish and tart finish, rounded by a lemony fruitiness. Not very convincing, bur drinkable..........

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Beer is strong and malty, not very dry, but constant sourish. A little bit too much. An average bock! Big thanks to pivnizub for the bottle!

bottled, thanks to Bochum. Amber colour, large head, with some floaties. Quite sour aroma. The fruity sourness is very dominating, slightly malty and hoppy. Although more than a month before is sell-by-date, it seems this one is not as it supposed tobe, it is definitely too sour.

Bottle, thanks pivnizub. Light sour malt aroma, nice fitting orange notes. Amber orange with floaties, nice golden head. Fruity orangezest flavour, light berry-notes, good hops, very good balance, orange-cookie finish. Nice.

Bottle, thanks pivnizub. Cloudy (light clumpy) amber, big golden head. Light herbal and honeyish nose. Somewhat papery base, plenty of honey and straw. Fairly light. Restrained hop profile. Mellow, well-carbonated. A bit dusty retronasal.

Bügelverschlußflasche: Golden, lively carbonation, mid-sized fluffy white head, very stable; pale-malty and grassy aroma; light to moderate sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied; short, mild bitter-sweet finish. Unspectacular, but very well crafted......

(swing top bottle) Hazy, golden colour with a big and slightly yellow foamy head. Sweet and moderately wheaty nose with banana-fruity esters and a slightly acidic citrus fruity touch, accompanied by vanilla and spicy phenolic notes. Moderately sweet and slightly sour flavour, light to medium bodied with a fizzy carbonation. Yeasty, initially fruity taste with a moderate wheat-character and spicy phenols, getting stronger towards the sweet and slightly bitter finish with a refreshing sourish touch.

(swing top bottle) Hazy, amber coloured hue with a massive, lacey slightly off-white head. Well-balanced caramel-malty and spicy herbal hoppy aroma with hay-like and subtle fruity notes (lemon), accompanied with a rural touch of barnyard in a very pleasant way. Moderately sweet flavour with a bitter edge, medium bodied with a well-matured mouthfeel. Slightly toasted malty and bready taste with subtle fruity notes; lasting slightly sweet malty finish with a dash of bittering herbal hops. Superb and well-crafted Bock.

(swing top bottle) Hazy, amber colour with a huge off-white foamy head. Sweet, slightly toasted malty aroma, yeasty and subtle fruity (citrus) with caramel and spicy herbal hops. Sweet-bitter flavour, lightl to medium bodied with a crispy carbonated. Moderately toasty cara-malty and slightly yeasty taste; medium-dry, sweet-bitter finish. Pleasant to drink, but I like the style a bit more hops orientated.

(swing top bottle purchased at the brewery) Clear golden colour with a fluffy and lacey white foam. Herbal, slightly spicy hops aroma with a light-sweet malty background and a tinge of the typical Franconian barnyard smell. Light-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a well-matured, crispy carbonation. Balanced soft and slightly grainy malt character and herbal hops; bitter and light-sweet, slightly herbal hoppy finish with a grainy aftertaste. Fresh and rounded rural Helles. Very pleasant.
