Swing top. Found in Memmelsdorf. Wauw. Pours Pale golden Yellow with a White foam. Cereal, grains and Bready malts. Clean and tasty. Smooth and soft. It’s a brewery visit next time as the Kellerbier was also incredible even in Bottle.

Bottle @ Rewe Memmelsdorf. Shock. Still far away from the brewery village and ive never seen a bottle of it before. Top 10 Franken want. It pours murky cloudy Golden with a small White head. Green and grassy with doughy yeast and biscuit. Herbal and Well hopped. Smoothness. Bottle Said BB 11 - That is in 6 months. Seems rather fresh. Keller and brewery is still on my top priority list. Amazing Bottle.

Bottle from Dominik. Thanks! Hazy murky blond/amberish colour, white foam. Nose of caramel, sweet malts, light roasty, bready, soft hoppy finish .Great Kellerbier!

Swing top bottle, bought at the brewery. Orange brown color. Butter, hops and wood in the aroma. Malty, buttery flavor with boiled milk and some hops. Werthers Echter sweets. Medium bodied. Light bitter and buttery aftertaste. Fairly clean beer, in which you can taste the Franconian countryside.

Swing top bottle, bought at the brewery. Golden color. Soft aroma of malt and soap. Malty flavor with boiled milk. A slight apple fruitiness. Low on hopbitterness. Recent investments seem to have been made in this miniature brewery.

Herrmann Ampferbach Kellerbier, Flasche von Hopfen & Malz, Berlin (MHD: 3/19). - Kupfergoldbraun, trüb; schöner sahniger Schaum. - In der Nase appetitliches, leicht toastiges und nussiges, mild karamelliges Malz und milde aber aromatische hopfenwürzige Herbe mit Orangenschale. - Antrunk blaß toastmalzig mit vager Hopfenherbe und feiner aber doch störender säuerlicher Note sowie ranzigen Zügen. Das Malz bleibt vage, die Hopfenherbe ist ebenso undeutlich, krautig und leicht scharf aber ohne feinere Aromen. Durchschnittlich rezent, was für ein Kellerbier schon ein Zuviel an Kohlensäure bedeutet; weich. Im Abgang vage krautige Herbe. Übel ranziger Nachgeschmack. - Hier ist definitiv was schiefgelaufen, entweder in der (noch längst nicht abgelaufenen) Flasche oder schon vor dem Abfüllen. Unterdurchschnittlich.

Draught (Zum Franziskaner, Stockholm) - Golden with a white head. Bread, lemon and lime in the aroma. Lemon, sourdough and knäckebröd in the taste. Nicely balanced and refreshing.

Vom Faß in der Nebenstube der Brauerei Herrmann in Ampferbach, wo ich wie alle Gäste einfach ein Bier bestellte und daher nicht sagen kann, welches von den beiden hier produzierten ich bekam, das Vollbier oder das Lager. - Goldgelb, schwach trüb. - Nase eher fruchtig als herb. - Antrunk mild hellmalzig-süßlich mit kaum herben fruchtigen Noten. Hopfenaromen etwas schwach ausgeprägt. Schwach rezent, etwas vollmundig. Im Abgang doch noch Hopfenherbe, aber wenig und ohne prägnante Aromen. - Mild und (nur) fruchtig gehopftes Helles ohne rechte Herbe, anfangs ein wenig lahm aber mit vollem Körper, rund und saftig. Probierenswert, ebenso wie die deftige Kellerplatte. (Verkostung: 26.4.2017.)
