Bottle picked up from Edeka, Amberg and consumed at home Thursday 24th October listening to Huw Stephens - Round Table on 6Music. Pours clear gold with a large fast disappearing white head, my first criticism is one of my own making, I put it in the Stout and Barley Wine fridge so it's not as cold as it should be, but hey we'll pass over that as it's all of my own doing. Having said that it's a tad too sweet to be a Pils, it's version a nice beer but the Pils characteristics that I'm looking forward are missing here? Tastes more like a Festbier, sweet, malty, more'ish' , can the temperature really make such a radical difference, maybe?

Bottle picked up from Edeka in Amberg. Consumed Saturday 19th October 2024 preparing pork ribs and other pork to be smoked tomorrow and also tonight's meal a Chicken Berry Britannia from the Dishoom book. Pours warm gold, clear as a bell, mid sized white head, lovely carbonation, yeah v.good mouthfeel. Nicely malty, but also a little tinge of a metallic edge, I used to get this an awful lot back in the day with lager beers but rarely as much these days, it never really was a negative for me but was frequently there. This has a nice buzz, there is a little fruity edge, but the hoppiness is there and also a bitterness that starts slowly but builds. Good.

Bottled. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is sweet alcohol, some glue and mild malts with some herbal tones too. Flavour is dried fruits, some plum, some alcohol sweetness and mild sweet malts. Quite boozy in the aftertaste. Felt stronger than just the 7.5 %.

Bottle courtesy of Jonas, many thanks Jonas! Had this at home Attenkirchen, Wednesday 23rd October 2019 listening to Robyn Hitchcock in session on 6Music. Pours clear gold with a white head. soft, easy going, a little mineral bite, a touch dry on the finish. Fine, in fact I like it.

Bottle. Hazy (blood)orange, bloody low offwhite head. Roast grain, light smoke, caramel and bloody iron notes. Medium mellow bloody body. Bloodorangepeel retronasal. Solid, doesn't Pandure to the beernerds.

Bottle. Cloudy amber, plentifull fine arbonation, offwhite creamy lace. Dry straw, some metallic notes, clay, dry fruit, rural butter, grassy bitterness, Feels oxidized, trying a fresher bottle is probably a good idea.

Raigeringer FestBier, Flasche vom Amberger Wein- und Getränkemarkt. - Bronzegold, klar.
