Large foamy white head on a hazy vivid golden coloured body. Medium bodied smooth & creamy. Mango, zesty, boiled sweets & exotic fruit tastes with a tangy citrus finish. Excellent.

Cask at Crewe Dog, Crewe. Pours a golden yellow with a small almost white head and good lacing. Floral hops are the mainstay of the aroma with some hints of tropical fruits. In the mouth it is sweet and juicy with a creamy texture. Floral hops again with some hints of citrus. Later on some traces of bitterness and grapefruit come through as well, leading to a slightly dry finish. Not a world beater but definitely reasonable. I would class it as a Golden Ale rather than a Pale though.

Keg draught at Tønne, Leicester. Looks like Heartown's attempt to Hone in on 'kräft'. Light golden yellow, hazy with a smallish thick white head. Light aroma: some melon, soft citrus, pear. Slightly sweet, more citrus and soft billowing malt flavour. Short finish. Light body with carbonation on the heavy side. It's okay.
