Courtesy of jcwattsrugger. Bomber pours near copper with off white head. The aroma has some sharp citrus, grainy breadiness and malts. The taste runs up first with citrus hops, some lemon like acidity, grapefruit juice, some orange zest and tangelo. All those notes create a fairly sharp and bitter bite. In the background is a modest amount of malty sweetness. This thing is growing on me and ends much better than it started as my palate adjusts (I assume).

Pours a very dark brown that shows some garnet highlights in a strong light. Average sized tan head. Roast malt aroma with some chocolate and coffee. Strong roast malt bitterness on the front end with some chalky dryness delivering the chocolate notes that were hinted at in the aroma. I’d like a bit more body in this.

The pour produces a ruddy medium amber with a lasting, sticky, off-white head. Caramel malt and citrus hops make up the aroma. The flavor sweet up front with an underlying bitterness that builds on the tongue after the swallow.

This brown ale pours clear medium dark brown under an average-sized slightly off-white head. Sweet malt aroma, with a touch of yeast. Slightly sweet flavor that is delivered with a dry palate. A touch of astringency in the palate detracts a bit.

Fresh from a growler filled three hours ago. Slightly hazy medium orange with a tall, sticky white head that coats the sides of the glass. Some earthy, citrus hops in the aroma. The flavor balance is a tad towards the sweet malt side but there is good hop bitterness keeping it in check. Very drinkable IPA.
