33cl bottle form Auchan Hypermarché Hirson, France
F: thin, tan, quick gone.
C: brown, hazy.
A: malty, brown sugar, orange peels, cinnamon, licorice, juniper.
T: medium malty base, the same spicy mix as in aroma, toast, dry on the palate, bit to spicy yet for me ok, medium carbonation, enjoyed.

Bottle from Auchan Illkirch-Graffenstaden. Brown with a stable beige head. Roasty flavours with chocolate and a nice sweet touch, shy earthy hops in the finish.

Huge thanks to quack-duck for that one! Bottle looks simple but really good. Beer in the glass dark brown, nice head. Phenomenal aroma - awesome malty-spicy-herbal notes. Starts milder than exspected, malty-spicy, herbal notes, some raisins, some chocolate. Finish well balanced, soft malty, spicy, herbal. Nice one!

25cl pour at Vintage Bar in Bordeaux. Pours a peachy gold with some soft, white head. Nose has a lot of fruit, peach, apricot, mild malt, a little honey, fairly jammy, some apple compote. Flavor is the same, apple jam, peach, apricot, a little bubblegum. Clean finish. Not a standard blonde ale, tons of fruit. But fairly nice.

12oz bottle from the Gasconha table at the Bordeaux farmer’s market. The woman told me this was spiced with jasmin. We’ll see. Pours a hazy, burnt orange with some creamy, lasting, eggshell head. Nose does have a bit of jasmin tea with honey, plenty of honey comb, a little bit of jack fruit, some pear, some yeast. Flavor is solid, lightly sweet, a little tannic, plenty of green tea, honey, pear, a little caramel, a little bit of tamarind. Creamy finish.

25cl pour at Vintage Cafe in Bordeaux. Pours a hazy, caramel amber with some thin, white head. Nose is bread crust, caramel, mild malt, a little yeast, some hints of ripe pear. Flavor has more fruit than the nose lets on, apples and pears mostly, even a little raisin, some bread crust too. Dry finish. Entry beer.
