Because of our passion for good beer, we try to get a little better with every beer and push our boundaries.
Folkinge, the first part of our name, refers to the location where we started brewing: in the 'backyard' of a beer shop on the Folkingestraat in Groningen. Brew refers to the American craft beer culture, where we get our inspiration.

440ml can. Sweet, herbal hoppy and piney with some grapefruit, citrus, tropical notes, hints of mango and dankness, mild bitterness. Okay sweetish DIPA.

Can. Hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, slightly soft and mildly dry, decent fine carbonation. Light malts, a thin creamy sweetness. Smooth pine into a light but very pleasing Sabro pineapple and coconut. Some mellow but reasonably rich Citra citrus. Also ran were Equanot and the formerly aggressively bitter but now lobotomized Galaxy hop, just some welcome fruit salad sweets. Smooth semi dry finish. Light and perhaps a little dry but packed with good hop fruits and very drinkable.

Potdikkie, ik wil graag negatief zijn over NL brouwers en IPAs, en folkingebrew wordt gehyped. Maar dit deed me serieus iets denken aan de usa trip van vorig jaar. Snif, good memories

Cloudy yellow colour with a medium white head. Aroma is citrusy hops, tangerine and peach. Taste is medium tropical with pineapple and peach leading to a medium bittersweet finish. Medium bodied. Good and refreshing.
Next one please!

Pours a medium dark orange, hazy, with an off-white head. Very tropical smell, loads of pineapple. Mouthfeel is thick, but with plenty of carbonation cutting through, some soft oats too. Taste is heavy hoppy, lots of tropical fruit, ending nicely bitter

0.44 l can from 'Ace Drinks', best before March 2021. Hazy, pale amber with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, rather fruity, slightly dank aroma of orange, mango and passion fruit. Gently sweet, very fruity, rather juicy taste of mango, passion fruit and orange, followed by a short, minimally bitter, slightly resiny finish. Medium body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Super tasty fruit bomb, the hops are absolutely on point, really good.

Juicy and fruity, full body. Plenty of mango from the mosaic and some passion fruit and danky grass from the galaxy. A bit of citrus. Sweet and bitter. Very nice!
