Draft at Ascension. Pours a clearish ruby red with a small finger of foam that dissipates. Jammy nose with redcurrant and berry aromas on the nose. Smooth and creamy on the palate with more jammy fruit flavor that lingers. Delicous.

Draft at Ascension. Pours a hazy ruby to purple with a finger of pink-white foam that lingers. Big pungent blackberry aromas with some light yogurt and lime as it warms. Super jammy blackberry and cream on the palate. Good tart lime zest and young blackberry kicks in as it warms. Lingering tart berry with a slight creaminess. Very good.

Draft at Ascension. Pours a hazy gold with a finger of white foam that lingers. Total Mosaic bomb with gooseberry, citrus and light strawberry aromas on the nose as it warms. A touch of dank, more citrus pith and gooseberry. Smooth, but some good pine and prickly pear towards the finish. Super crushable.

Draft at the source. Pours a hazy gold with a small bit of white foam that dissipates. Lots of dank hops on the nose with citrus, pith and tropical fruit aromas. Smooth on the palate...maybe a touch green, but still enjoyable. Lingering passion fruit, underripe mango and citrus. Smooth and slightly creamy palate. Lingering dank and tropical fruit.

Pours slightly hazy deep golden/orange/amber color with a 1 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big juicy/tart/tangy red cherries, fruit skin/pits, lemon, lime, orange, peach, pear, melon, apricot, red/green apple, white grape/wine, peppercorn, clove, hay, straw, wood, herbal, floral, grass, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, biscuit, light leathery/musty funk, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/funky/spicy yeast, cherries, pale/wheat malts, and light-moderate earthy hop notes; with big strength. Taste of big juicy/tart/tangy red cherries, fruit skin/pits, lemon, lime, orange, peach, pear, melon, apricot, red/green apple, white grape/wine, peppercorn, clove, hay, straw, wood, herbal, floral, grass, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, biscuit, light leathery/musty funk, and yeast earthiness. Overall this is an awesome fruited saison. All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/funky/spicy yeast, cherries, pale/wheat malts, and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; very smooth and fairly crisp/refreshing to drink with the modestly bitter/spicy/tart/tangy/drying finish. Overall this is an awesome session NEIPA. All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth and pretty refreshing to drink with the mellowly bitter/resinous/drying finish; great soft feel for the style ABV. Awesome Azacca showcase. Very juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank/earthy hops; with a nice balancing wheat/oat/malt backbone for the ABV. Mild residual sweetness with lingering resin dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and impressive style example as expected of both breweries.

Taste of big lemon, pear, red apple, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, wood, peppercorn, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of lemon, pear, red apple, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, wood, peppercorn, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of pale/wheat malts and light-moderate fruity yeast/earthy hop flavors; with a fantastic malt/bitterness balance, and no astringent hop flavors after the finish. Fairly crisp/clean finishing. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium-plus carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy, and fairly stick mouthfeel that is fantastic. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.9%. Overall this is an outstanding kolsch. All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of pale/wheat malts and light-moderate fruity yeast/earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink with the modestly bitter/drying finish. Very flavorful and not watery for the ABV. Awesome clean pale/wheat malt showcase, with great noble hop presence/balance for the style. Minimal residual sweetness with crisp dryness. A highly enjoyable offering, and outstanding spot on style example. One of the best kolsch I've had in a while.
