16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned in 3/2019. Pours nearly opaquely hazy deep golden/orange/amber color with a 1 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big juicy, lightly tart/tangy mangoes, honeydew, watermelon, mandarin orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, mint, light peppercorn/pine, vanilla, cream, cracker, biscuit dough, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical hops, mangoes, vanilla, lactose, and bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of huge juicy, lightly tart/tangy mangoes, honeydew, watermelon, mandarin orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, mint, light peppercorn/pine, vanilla, cream, cracker, biscuit dough, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness; and mango tang/tartness on the finish. Lingering notes of mangoes, honeydew, watermelon, mandarin orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, mint, peppercorn, pine, vanilla, cream, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for while. Fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/light earthy hops, mangoes, vanilla, lactose, and bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness and tart/tangy fruit balance; with no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness and mango tang/tartness. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky/bready/grainy, and lightly sticky/acidic/tangy mouthfeel that is great. Slight lingering resins/rinds through the glass. Mildly increasing warmth of 8.2% after the finish. Overall this is a fantastic fruited milkshake NEDIPA. All around fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/light earthy hops, mangoes, vanilla, lactose, and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink for the ABV, with the mellowly bitter/tart/tangy/drying finish, nicely soft feel. A bit more lingering dryness than expected. Amazing Citra/Azacca profile. Extremely juicy, lightly dank/earthy hops, and balanced mangoes; with a great balanced lactose, and oat/malt backbone. Mild residual sweetness with lingering dryness. A highly enjoyable offering, and impressively spot style example.

Thanks Gregg for sharing the bottle! Poured into a taster showing dark brown with no head. The nose shows moderately intense sweet notes of raisins, molasses, and light maple syrup but mostly molasses forward. The palate is full bodied and moderately carbonated. Light maple syrup forward with a strong rye spiciness throughout. Moderately intense notes of coffee in between and on the finish. More maple syrup and molasses on the finish.

Pitch black color. No head. Sweet, but not overly so, nose with tons of maple, rye, oak, bourbon, baker’s chocolate and toffee. Sweet palate, but not cloying, tons of rye, maple, dark chocolate, coffee, some hazelnut, oak and everything shines. Not boozy. Wow, this is an amazing work of art. Everything lines up but nothing dominates and everything shares equally. I could actually drink a pint. Crazy drinkable. A work of art. It goes from 4.5 to 4.7 as I've never had such a balanced and drinkable 17% plus beer and it has all the additional things going on. Amazing.

All around great omplexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the modestly bitter/resinous/drying finish, not overly aggressive. Apparently a rotating dry hopped series, this feels like all Galaxy. Very juicy, vibrant, dank, and earthy balanced hop complexity; with a nice balancing wheat/oat/malt backbone.
