Sampled from the tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma is straw forward with a touch of hay and a bit of earthy grain underlying. Flavor has slightly sweet grains and straw with a bit of bread and a hint of hay coming through.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a clear straw yellow with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of straw and a hint of corn with just a bit of hay coming through. Flavor has a bit more hay but is still mainly straw and just a bit of grains coming through.

Panda at home, thanks to the Wingmane, 21/03/24. black with a khaki cap that thins to a swirl. Nose is dark malts, roasted tones, coffee grinds, charr, cacao nibs. Taste comprises roast malts, ashen tones, charr, spice, cacao nibs, dark chocolate, trace of earthy coffee roast, dried fruit rinds. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a spike of alcohol. Okay impy stout if a touch raw and earthy at times.

Panda at home, thanks to the Wingmane, 21/03/24. Pitch black with a light tan cap that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is chocolate, dark malts, vanilla, light booze, dark fruit rinds, spice. Taste comprises cacao nibs, charr, spice, dark malts, mellow roast, dates, cocoa powder, lactic tang. Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, light drying close with a kiss of alcohol. Okay impy stout ... good bitter balance about it and doesn't run sweet.

Panda at home, thanks to the Wingmane, 21/03/24. Almost clear golden amber with an off white cap that thins to a swirl. Nose is orange zest, grass, light pine layer, melon, mandarin, papaya. Taste comprises bitter orange, grapefruit, pine needle, grass, melon. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with light juicy come leafy hop bitterness. Didn't come over as an 11% job ... sipped okay but no wow ... a touch old skool and hovering between 3rd and 4th bier as per most of this breweries output.

Taste comprises mixed tropical fruits, bitter orange, grass, grapefruit, melon, light hop spice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spliced with lightly aggressive but balanced hop bitterness. Okay DIPA with an old skool lilt.
