Bottle sample at a tasting at kerenmk’s place. Thanks tomer. Golden. Aroma of honey, some spiciness (a bit floral, some clove), a bit of candies and a bit of alcohol. Sweet honey flavor with a bit of spiciness and quite a lot of alcohol.

20/07 and completed the next day at Richtar Jakub, Bratislava. It had full golden body with small legs. Strong honey aroma, spiced up with mint and some milder herb. Flavor is quite sweet with spices again, mint, cinnamon, cloves and ordinary dry herbs. Long, warming finish. Quite interesting and although a bit too sweet for my taste I admit it’s a great mead.

20/07 From bottle at Richtar Jakub, Bratislava. It had clear, yellow body with decent legs. Simple sweet honey aroma, sweetish, a bit alcoholic flavor, without any special spices, some herbs might be added or it’s due to the nature of the honey. Long, a bit alcoholic finish, quite warming. Pretty decent mead, although simple.
