Bottle shared at BBT 3/2022. Quite sweet, balanced only by med-high booziness. Assertive red apple presence, caramelly, raisins. Little else to be found here. Boozy, but somehow drinkable. Malt liquor. If I was looking to get drunk quickly and painlessly, this is the way to go.

Bottle at home, Nivala. BBE 01/24. Enjoyed straight from the bottle. Aromas and flavours: Caramels, pine, alcohol, some barrel elements, malts... heavy. Heavy, simple but enjoyable.

Bottle procured in Finland a while back. Very dark color, huge lasting brown head that I was not expecting from an imperial stout. Roasted nose with hints of brown sugar and whisky. The flavor is many-layered: sweetness and brown sugar up front, nice complexity of oak and a hint of whisky in the middle, with a rounded bitter-smoky-roasted-coffee aftertaste. At the end it's a great Absolutely-Not-Pastry (!) stout with powerful hop bitterness and complex flavor profile.
