Bottle, 2023 vintage. Pours inky black with a small brown head, decent lacing. Aroma is heavy vanilla, fudge, bourbon. Flavor is sweet, light plus bitter. Heavy heavy vanilla. Way too much; eats the barrel notes. Full body, a bit hot.

Can from Livonia Liquor. Pours a clearish straw gold with a full 2 fingers of foam that lingers. Nice crisp lager aromas with some light crackery notes and grain husks. Palate is similar, but snappy and refreshing. Mostly dry finish.

Bottle shared at Free Beer tasting thanks to sjogro. Black with barely any head. Vanilla, coffee, maple, cinnamon, boost, chocolate, sugar, rye whisky. Very sweet, medium bitter. Almost full bodied, quite some boost. Boozy but lovely.

Can from Livonia Liquor. Pours a deep brown to black with a finger of beige head that lingers. Lots of treacle aromas on the nose with dark chocolate, turbinado sugar and cream. Coffee, dark chocolate, treacle and more turbinado surgar on the palate as well. Balanced finish between sweet and bitter with coffee, treacle and milk chocolate on the finish. Very nice.

Can from Livonia Liquor. Pours a murky dark orange gold with a finger of white foam that dissipates. Not much of an aroma at all, maybe a touch of dough and light citrus. Almost no flavor on the palate, smells and tastes oxidized. Released last week or this week. Shame there's issues with this one since I love Citra. Not good.

Panda thanks to Wingman. Near clear deep brown beer, small and short lived bubbly dark tan head. Fairly smooth palate but also, a tad thin for the style and mildly dry. Good fine minerally carbonation. The slightly thin bodied dark malts impact super boozy and rich chocolate cake. Punchy boozy bourbon. The added savoury elements come through on the spicy back end but are never a central part of this overall beer, not for me anyway! Still, great fun and, the Transient intensity, just keeps coming.

Panda thanks to Wingman. Pretty much an opaque dark brown beer, small and short lived bubbly dark tan head. Smooth palate, fairly light all told, a modest dryness and decent fine carbonation. Transient intensity bursts out of the glass. Super rich chocolate cake / chocolate torte. Ripe fruity chocolate segues seamlessly into the punchy fruity whisky and whisky alcohol spice. Fairly light finish. Long spicy linger. Woof! Intense!
