Near opaque dark brown beer, small bubbly dark tan head, doesn't last too long. Palate doesn't feel heavy but, does carry a little viscosity. Good fine minerally carbonation. Fairly light bodied dark malts but, punching hard with dark chocolate, a little milk chocolate and abundant vanilla. Big bourbon barrelling on the back half. I mean big savoury spicy ripe fruity bourbon, a fair old intensity. Things come together into an airy richly flavoured boozy spicy finish. It's far from the most harmonious Transient brew I have had but, darling, the intensity is to die for.

Areolas are slightly old resin and citrus hops with malt. Flavors are much better than nose with stone fruit and a little melon added in. Slightly more sweet than bitter and okay carbonation. Maybe a hint of cinnamon. Drinkable but nothing's special.

Can. Pours a clear straw yellow with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma is full of straw with a bit of hay and a touch of grass coming through. Flavor has straw and light sweet grain with light flora, grass and hay backing.

Black topped with a tan head that dissipates to a swirl.
Nose is dark malts, dried fruit rinds, vanilla, chocolate, spice, bourbon rip.
Taste comprises chocolate, coffee bean, maple syrup, molasses, booze tunes, light spice, bourbon soak.
Full bodied, light oily fee, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost.
Solid BA impy.

Can from the brewery. Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has straw and hay with a touch of rye and grass underlying. Flavor has straw and light hay throughout with a touch of rye and a hint of grass backing.

Bottle from Brew Export. Rich enticing aromas of maple, dark chocolate, bourbon, coconut, black treacle, raisin, coffee. Taste is dark chocolate, Turkish coffee, burnt toast, warming bourbon, profiteroles, caramel. Beautifully balanced. Sweet, long throat warming finish. Superb.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a murky brown with an amber hue and a thin, off white head that dissipates quickly and completely. Aroma has a nice bourbon with sweet grains, light toffee and a hint of cookie. Flavor is similar with a nice sweet grain and bourbon combination supported by toffee and caramel.
