Description
Why Bear&Boar?
First, our brewery is located in the middle of the woods. The place is wild. There is a high chance you will meet one of these two, possibly even in the taproom.
Second, bear has an excellent sense of smell. It helps to craft exquisite flavors that will pleasantly surprise even the most experienced beer sommeliers, for example a Boar. He claims that he is one of the best tasters. This makes Bear and Boar an excellent team.
Third, they are homophones! "Bear" sounds similar to "beer" and "boar" sounds similar to "bar". So Bear&Boar is also Beer&Bar.

Tap at Bear & Boar. Rather thin body, med-high carbonation. Med-high bitterness, med-light sweetness. Lots of classic citrusy hops character, somewhat catty, a bit of blackcurrant too. Overall drinkable, but rather average quality.

Tap at Bear & Boar. Medium body, medium carbo. Medium bitterness, medium sweetness. Lots of artificial lychee, somewhat less cactus, though no less artificial. No hops character, maybe a bit of general fruitiness, but that is about it. Not bad, but not good either.

Tap at Bear & Boar. Med-thin body, medium carbonation. Medium sweetness, light sourness. Strong cherry flavour, with a weird medium-strength element, like vanilla. The cherry is a bit natural feeling, but also somehow artificial. Does what it does well - drink for an undemanding peasant. But inoffensive to me personally too, drinkable. Goodish.

44cl can from Vynoteka, Vilnius. Pours hazy orange with a dissipating, white head. Mild Wheaty aroma with notes of ripe oranges and hints of herbs. Moderate sweet with fairly low flavour intensity and mild acidic notes. Fair enough.

44cl can from Vynoteka, Vilnius. Pours clear, deep golden with a white head. Malty and slightly herbal with mild grassy notes and hints of herbs and cooked vegetables. On the sweeter side, but feels fairly clean and crisp - quite refreshing and sessionable when properly cold.
