Associated Venue: Bear & Boar Brewery Taproom

Established in 2018
First, our brewery is located in the middle of the woods. The place is wild. There is a high chance you will meet one of these two, possibly even in the taproom.
Second, bear has an excellent sense of smell. It helps to craft exquisite flavors that will pleasantly surprise even the most experienced beer sommeliers, for example a Boar. He claims that he is one of the best tasters. This makes Bear and Boar an excellent team.
Third, they are homophones! "Bear" sounds similar to "beer" and "boar" sounds similar to "bar". So Bear&Boar is also Beer&Bar.

8/6/2024. Can bought at Bear and Boar, Vilnius. Pours unclear dark red with a small frothy off-white pinkish head. Aroma is musty blueberry, raspberry, blackberry, lactose, malts, granola. Moderate sweetness, quite bitter, slightly unpleasantly so, with light sours. Moderate body, quite lively carbonation. Drying blueberry finish. Thought I’d like this more than I did.

8/6/2024. Draft pour at Bear and Boar, Vilnius. Unexpected fine. Story is this was made in conjunction with and to support a Ukrainian producer whose plant was destroyed in the early stages of the war, at a location in France, then sold here in Vilnius, and now enjoyed by a Brit. A truly worthy European experience. As for the ice cider, it poured almost clear dark amber brown with no head. Aroma is rich apple, brown sugar, syrup, brown bread, caramel, hints of spice and herb. Medium plus sweetness, light tartness, spiced edge. Quite full bodied, smooth and syrupy, no carbonation. Top Lithuania rating so far.
