Bottle (at mead museum). Pours yellow. Aroma is sweet, sour, berries, slight acetone. Flavor is sweet, sour, honey, gooseberries. Finish is sour. Overall: very good, berries don't overrun the mead.

Bottle, ceramic. Oily pour leaving a clear, pale golden mead in the glass. Earthy, flowery and very perfumed on the nose, leaving the honey in the background. Rather sweet on the palate, perfumed like the aroma, and with heather and some musty notes. Oily and lightly warming, full body. Sweet, honey finish with perfume and flowers. A quite nice one, wouldn’t mind drinking more of it. 120623

Pours clear pale yellow. Aroma has notes of honey, flowers and nuts. Taste is heavy sweet with a long sweet nutty and honey finish. Body is full, texture is sticky.
