Tap at SOPP. Bright orange-amber colour, tiny white head. Glueish, alcoholic, overriped banana aroma. Medium-bodied but high viscocity. Banana, low bitterness, slick palate. (Kiisseli) Very simple. As such not so interesting.

Draught at Villi Wäinö, Helsinki. Hazy deep golden, no head. Huge bubblegum aroma. Mid sweet with medium-full body and viscous oily mouthfeel. Peppery with bubblegum and banana. No bitterness. Really viscous. Hardcore sahti. Very interesting, not sure I like the oily viscousity.

On tap at Suuret Oluet Pienet Panimot - Tampere, pours an opaque cloudy dark amber orange with a small beige head. Aroma brings out sweet caramel, with light spicy juniper, and some earthiness. Flavour is along the same lines, with lots of earthy notes, light caramel, and heaps of spicy juniper berries. Gotta love that soil character. Darker and maltier than most I've had so far. Solid.

On tap at Suuret Oluet Pienet Panimot - Tampere, pours a cloudy golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out light citrusy notes, with light earth and light berries. Flavour is along the same lines, with earthy notes, light juniper berries and soft pillowy wheat. Less herbal and earthy than other sahtis I've had. Decent.

On tap at Gastropub Tuulensuu, pours a cloudy golden yellow, no head. Aroma is loaded with earthy soil-like notes, really smelling like fresh twigs from the ground. Flavour follows accordingly, with fresh twigs, earthy pine and soil. Light berry-like sweetness in there. Carbonation is flight. I really don't get it. It's okay I guess.

On tap at Gastropub Tuulensuu, pours an opaque cloudy dark orange, almost no head. Nose brings out lots of herbal notes, along with earthy soil notes and fresh oranges. Flavour is along the same lines, with fresh oranges, herbal notes, light soil, and some spiciness. Quite orangey, which overpowered the soil - not necessarily a bad thing. Flat carbonation. Decent.

On tap at Gastropub Tuulensuu, pours a deep dark mahogany with a tiny white head. Aroma brings out lots of soil, with red berries and earthy, dirty notes. Flavour is along the same lines, with fruity red berries, lots of soil, earthy notes and a hint of spiciness. I like the berries in here, giving it a nice fruitiness. Fairly dry, earthy, spicy finish. Flat carbonation. Decent.

(Poured from a plastic jug at St Urhos Pub Sahtipäivät 2018) The beer poured deep amber and cloudy. Its head was tiny and white. Aroma had banana, juniper and sweetness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were juniper, sweetness, banana, malts and low bitterness. Aftertaste had sweetness and juniper. A pleasant balanced sahti. Bit too sweet.
