Tap. Hazy orange color with white head. Aroma is phenolic. Taste is juniper, estery, quite off. Medium carbonation. Doesn’t win a lot through blending.

Tap. Cloudy, light grey orange, golden lace. Muddled spicy nose, fruit, old tobacco, phenols. Light body, mellow. Old wheat beer notes, some berries, a bit honey. Quick finish. Did not gain from the blend.

Tap. Hazy yellow color with white head. Aroma is bananas, phenolic. Taste is bananas, wheat, estery, fussle oils, some off flavours, high carbonation. Not dry enough. Not a good Saison, and would?t be a great Weizen either, unfortunately...

Tap. Copper color with eggshell head. Aroma is buttery, fresh junipers. Taste is more junipers, nourishing, a bit resinous. Medium carbonation. Interesting, but pleasant. A bit watery. The junipers are blended in nicely.

Unclear, golden colored, medium white frothy head, good lasting and nice lacing. Aroma is some malt, bit crystal, fruity melon, floral medium hoppy aroma. Taste is medium sweet malt, bit crystal, moderate+ tropical fruity, melon and floral, bit grapefruit hoppiness, medium+ bitterness, dry bitter finish and decent lasting aftertaste. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, oily. Very good. (bottle, Bierboutique, Graz)

330 ml bottle from Beer Store Vienna, bb 12.02.2017
Dark copper-brown body, with a small, creamy, beige head.
Aroma of smoked wood, bacon, caramel, chocolate, some dark berries.
Tastes of smoked wood, caramel, chocolate, some toast, some bacon, dark berries, tea, nuts.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation.
Finishes smooth, smokey, wooden, a bit roasty-bitter, a bit dry, with liquorice, toast, some dark sweet malts.
Very nice. Quite smokey, but well balanced, with enough dark, sweet malts. The ABV is almost completely hidden, drinks really smooth. Overall not the best smoked or brown ale I’ve had, but enjoyable stuff nonetheless.
