Bottle, 5.7%. Roasted aroma, hint of liquorice. Very dark brown colour, seems clear. Small stable off-white head. The flavour is bready at first, turning slightly roasted with a hint of liquorice. I get more liquor than nuts, obviously.

330ml bottle. Clear, reddish, amber colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Caramel malty aroma, hints of red fruit, a slightly dusty, yeasty touch. Taste is slightly sweet caramel malty, hints of red fruit again, the dusty, yeasty touch again, additionally some hop bitterness. OK, nothing more.

330ml bottle. Cloudy golden colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, fairly lacing, white head. Wheaty, fruity aroma, sweet-ish notes of banana, hints of papaya, a touch of clove, underlying hints of stored peach. Taste is minmally to moderately sweet wheaty, fruity, lots of banana, a touch of orange and mandarine, dry, minimally tannic and grassy hoppy counterweight. Light but quite flavourful.

330 ml bottle BB 22.12.2015 from Supersense, Vienna.
Golden-amber, moderate hazy body, with a big, frothy, rocky, strongly lacing, off-white head.
Aroma of grains, bread, flowers, citrus, fresh herbs, some sweet malts.
Tastes of citrus, flowers, fresh herbs like mint, grass, bread, honey, some candy.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes bitter, dry, floral, grassy, a bit minty.
Really nice. Very fresh and quaffable, with lovely floral, citric and minty notes. I don’t get too much of the rye though. A pretty above average, characterful Pils, that feels a bit like a summer meadow.

Dark brown to black, weak tan head. Aroma is malts, chocolate, less roasted and hazelnuts. Taste is moderate sweet malt, chocolate, hazelnuts, bit toasted in the finish and aftertaste. Low to moderate bodied and carbonation, bit creamy. Needs more body.

330 ml bottle from Ammersin 5, Vienna.
Copper, hazy body, with a big, frothy to creamy, lacing, off-white head.
Aroma of citrus, berries, peach, dark fruits, caramel.
Tastes of citrus, grass, peach, caramel, some bread, some tea notes, some pine.
Medium, bit creamy mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes smooth, medium bitter, zesty, piney, fruity, a bit grassy.
Nice one. Not that special, a typical amber ale, but quaffable and nicely hopped. Not my favourite beer by Bierol, but another enjoyable one.
