Nice. Clove, spicy, bit of farmhouse about it. Reminiscent of iss. Not particularly hoppy but easy drinking. Slight aroma of salt and vinegar crisps.

Very easy drinking. Great combo of smoked ham and lemon sourness. Great summer drinking. Maybe the sourness just has the edge over the smoke but the smoke gives it some body.

Locobeer India Black Ale 6% I ordered this online as I hadn’t had a beer from these guys in awhile. Deep cola black in color with a dense tan head that lingers. The hop bouquet is fresh pine with subtle hints of dark malts in the background. Medium bodied with roasty almost Smokey sweet dark chocolate notes slathered in piney hops. A pretty solid Black IPA.

Tap at JBC. Bit stinky, grainy. Taste is good. Grainy, dry, suprising vanilla sweetness. All the good stuff came half way down interestingly.

Tap at Towa. Light. Not much aroma at all. Taste is more fruity than I'd expect. Not much rye weirdness. Reminds a little of tizer which is nice. Bit of sweetness. Light graininess. Like the taste but the aroma doesn't seem to be there. Not off, just very faint. Bit of caramel further down and the tizer fades.

Tap at Mikkeller. Soft, light maltiness, little sweetness, caramel, little of the coffee herbal element but it lingers. Little grainy. Feels like the tamamura honten one. Nice.

Tap at Gremlin. Nice. Very easy drinking, well balanced. Light caramel sweetness, tiny bit of roast, lots of malt. Hint of chocolate. Aroma has touch of liquorice and black treacle, but taste is smooth.
