Cloudy dirty orange pour, some white bubbles. Grainy fruity nose. relatively simple. Taste has some clear coconut, medium bitterness and somewhat herbal spicy mouthfeel. Dry herbal and a bit bitter finish.

My first of the style. It's Japanese, so probably not super authentic, but this is a quite nice, easy to drink beer. A bit sweet, creamy.

Cask at Japan Brewer's Cup 2019. Malty, sicy nose, citrus, cafamel. Glowing amber-orange, with lace. Smooth, low carbonation works well with the rich malt. Nice stuff.

Tap at B&G. Nose is caramel, light smoke, maybe a touch of peat, dark chocolate, and wood. Rich malt flavor, nice caramel, chocolate, light smoke. A bit too thin, but tasty, with a bitter finish.

Tap at Bud. Glowing orange-brown with some lace. Caramel / treacle, butterscotch nose. Reminds me of buttered rum. Flavor is grapes, treacle, sticky brown sugar molasses, raisins. A bit of plastic too. Too sugary and no real wheat flavor. A strange one.

Bottle share @ Hanson's. Hazy yellow pour with some white foam on top. Nose is spicy, sweetish. tastes smooth. Classical saison with a nice balance there. Sweetish and malty, also has a good yeast character. No funk really but works well still. Tasty.

Actually really great. I don't love coconut, but dark coconut beers seem to satisfy. Will definitely try more from these Locos.

Bottle, 2017 vintage. Pours black with some light brown foam on top. Nose has light alcohol, liquorice and soy sauce. A bit tart and some roast there too. Taste has roast, liquorice and brownies. Not too sweet and coats tongue with bitter roast layer. Decent imperial stout, gets even better while it warms, nothing to complain about.

Pours hazy orange, some white foam. Nose is reminding of a proper tripel, sweet, yellow plums, Belgian candy-sugar, spicy yeast esters. Taste is somewhat more funky compared with some other ones that I have had, fruity, overripe pineapple and a bit of papaya. Sour-ish in a way but still having these basic elements of a tripel, sweet and with light measured bitterness in the finish. OK.
