Tap at Beach Muffin. Thanks for sharing Davido & Eric. Pours a hazy deep brown with a full finger of cappuccino colored foam. Biscuit and caramel nose with some whopper-like sweet notes pair with grassy, citrusy hops. Taste is very similar with a nice scratchy, hoppy finish. Good bitterness and maltiness pair well like an IPA and nut bread with vanilla icing. Not overly sweet by any means though. I like this one, unique take on a brown, especially in Japan. --- Beer merged from original tick of Brown Ale on 10 Jan 2016 at 16:54 - Score: 7

Tap at Beach Muffin. Pours a deep copper to medium brown with a finger of off-white foam that lingers then dissipates. Bread and malt forward notes with some apricot, persimmon and slight nutmeg. Medium body and average carbonation. Very light yeast character with a nice overall British feel even though the carbonation level isn’t British. Nice one, and very drinkable. --- Beer merged from original tick of Amber Ale on 10 Jan 2016 at 16:24 - Score: 7

Tap at Beach Muffin. Glowing orange with a finger of foam. Huge orange zest, mikan and marmalade aromas with some light pine and grassiness. Juicy flavors jump out all over the palate with bright mikan and marmalade notes. Finish has a little booze but it seems to disappear after a while. Great IIPA from Yorocco. --- Beer merged from original tick of MAD TAX on 10 Jan 2016 at 15:17 - Score: 8

Bottle from the brewery. Nose is mostly yuzu, a bit dusty and earthy, some caramel. Orange amber with a high, fine head. Love flavors, yuzu tartness blaned very well with some caramel maltiness and citrus hops. Light but not thn. Good stuff.

Tap at Beach Muffin. Fairly similar but with punchier orange. Dry and citrusy finish. Very solid pale ale and again not many breweries in Japan focusing on attenuation I feel. Even better on tap. Bottle shared at a tasting. Thanks birusaiko! Slightly hazy orange with a nice off-white head. Citrus, lemon zest, orange marmalade and a peppery saison-like yeast quality on the nose. Good carbonation with with a medium body. Super refreshing. Some light caramel notes come out as it warms. Good dry finish with some pepper and light bitterness. --- Beer merged from original tick of Pale Ale on 17 Oct 2015 at 19:27 - Score: 7

Tap at Beach Muffin. Pours a clear gold with a big white head. Good saison yeast nose with lots of pear along with some light peach/plum and grass. Good carbonation but not as lively as I prefer. More pear and wood along with some lemongrass as it warms. Nice finish with some light pepper. --- Beer merged from original tick of Laid Back Saison on 20 Sep 2015 at 13:23 - Score: 8

6.2% abv IPA batch kegged 2 days before according to brewer. Deep orange to light copper with a big soapy head that lasts throughout. Citrus, grapefruit, catpiss and weed on the nose with a touch of Belgian funk. Good carbonation and solid bitterness. Extremely easy drinking. --- Beer merged from original tick of IPA on 20 Sep 2015 at 14:39 - Score: 8. Original review text: 6.2% abv version

Tap at Beach Muffin. Clear deep gold to orange color with a nice head that lingers for a bit, then dissipates. Green apple, pear and peach on the nose with a bit of grain and wood. Light to medium carbonation with a slight woody character that has some light funk and cobweb. Finishes sweet and dry. Very unique. --- Beer merged from original tick of Dragon Rock Pale Ale on 20 Sep 2015 at 14:07 - Score: 8

Re-rate: Tap at Beach Muffin. Everything from before but a bit punchier in flavor...some sakura floral notes along with cherry. Very aromatic. Great carbonation and a dry finish. Again not sweet at all. Love the dryness. Another winner from Yorocco. Old Rating: Tap at Beach Muffin. Pinkish red with a nice big soapy head. Good floral notes with saison yeast character. Lots of carbonation and there is just enough body to keep the low ABV interesting. Crisp and clean finish with a slight dryness. Nice saison. --- Beer merged from original tick of Hibiscus Saison on 20 Sep 2015 at 12:55 - Score: 7

Draft at Beach Muffin. Hazy copper color with a medium-sized head that lingers for a bit. Grapefruit all over the nose with some orange and a bit of peach. Taste is quite similar with the citrus really dominating. Very citrus forward IPA, but not overly bitter. Quite enjoyable. Nice tingly bitter finish. --- Beer merged from original tick of Caravan Ipa on 27 Jul 2015 at 20:36 - Score: 7
