Bottle from the brewery. Very yeasty aroma, wheat, spices, citrus, minerals and a bit of dusty funk. Super cloudy orange-gold, bubbles. Looks under-carbonated. Fruity, minerally flavor. Again very yeasty and some dust. I taste coriander, though the hop profile is more like an American wheat ale. Citrus hop flavor, then ok bitterness. Seems like a Belgian-American hybrid of sort. Appears to be a good recipe, but that the yeast just went a bit funky this time. Not as well made as their IPA and PA.

Tap at Michikusa, Jan 2016. Spicy, citrus nose, lightly tropical. Crisp and clean flavor, great hops and excellent balance. Spicy, peppery finish. This has become excellent. Bottle from the brewery: March 2013 6/3/6/3/13. Medium brown. Deep caramel malt nose, light earthy hops. Soft and yeasty, caramel and fruit flavors. Decent stuff. A bit yeasty and full.

Rerate. Up to 6% from 5. Nice hop nose, lots of grapefruit, tropical fruit, huge citrus. Touch of caramel and chocolate. Cloudy orange-brown with a low head. Great fruit flavors, citrus, tropical, and stone. Malt comes out as chocolate and a bit of caramel, plus biscuits. Great balance. Big flavor. Light in body, crisp. clean bitterness in the finish, and dry as well. Damn good beer. Not the Skywalker, but much better than 3 years ago (as expected!). Bottle, gift from Chuwy. March, 2013: 6/3/7/3/14. Fragrant hop and caramel nose, light chocolate too. Nice citrus, grapefruit. Lots of caramel. Medium-dark brown, cloudy; low head. Chocolaty, caramel flavor, lots of rich malt, with grassy, citrus, American hops. Very much malt centered, and really more of a PA than an IPA, but big bitter finish, and very good for such a new, small brewery. No off flavors. Good start for these guys. Enjoyable stuff.
