Cask gravity at Siba Tonbridge 2014. Hazy gold amber thin off white head. Tasty enough citrus American hop beer. Liked it very drinkable. Some earthiness somr lemon curd. Good

Cask (gravity) @ Taproom N1, 163 Upper Street, Islington, Greater London England N1 1RE. [ As East London Wheat Porter ].Clear medium to dark brown color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, wheat, chocolate, toffee. Flavour is moderate to light heavy sweet and light moderate bitter with a average to long duration, chocolate, toffee sweet, sweet malt, light roasted. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20140416]

Cask at The Hop Pole, Aylesbury, Bucks, Wednesday 21st May 2014 Chestnut in colour with off-white head. Aroma was quite floral (or is that me imagining things due to beer name) quite a hard and slightly harsh taste. Some bitter chocolate perhaps but no vanilla. Much like the Aylesbury beer in terms of being a slight disappointment. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov11 3.0

Cask gravity at CPBF 2014. It pours darkest brow with minimal head. The nose is roasted malt, toast, earth, wheat, bruised banana, strawberry and liquorice. The taste is bitter-sweet, tangy, banana, caramel, toast, acidic, liquorice, scortched earth with a set, tangy finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Tastes pretty tangy and infected to me...... a shame.

Cask at The Union Tavern, Friday 16th May 2014 Pours amber with slim white head. Nicely bitter but the sweetness is ever present. Quite dry with a furry hoppy edge. Nice. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov15 3.6

500ml bottle from, I think, Borough Wines. Pours mahogany brown with a lovely sweet malty aroma. Has a dark bitterness with complex earthy malts, an interesting character with a smooth sessionable quality.

(Cask at Southampton Arms, Gospel Oak, London, 9 Apr 2014) Amber colour, slightly hazy, with brief white head. Fruity, malty nose with notes of apricots, orange and a touch of black-currant. Fruity, malty nose with orange, apricots, soft chewy malt and fresh floral hops in a finish with a balanced bitterness. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Well balanced and tasty. Quite nice.
