(Keg at Gallows Bird Kekri 2018) The beer poured deep amber and cloudy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, banana and clove. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, spiciness, clove, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was fruity, spicy and bitter. A nice spicy hefeweizen.

Tap at Pikkulintu, Helsinki. Color is almost black with very small white head. Aromas and flavors: Chocolate, smoke?, dryness and roasted malts. Probably best schwarzbieg made by Finnish brewers.

(Keg at Pikkulintu, 20181020) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had burnt malts, chocolate and ash. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, sweetness, chocolate, grass and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet, burnt and bitter. A clean and solid schwarzbier. Well done.

Draught @ Villi Wäinö, Kalevankatu 4, Helsinki, Finland 00100. [ As Takatalo & Tompuri Kaski Tuplahumala Pils ].Unclear - murky matt medium orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, wheat, bread, sweet malt, herbal - floral. Flavor is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a average duration, fruity hops, frutiy malt, caramel, sweet malt, herbal - floral. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20180704] 5-3-5-3-11

Bottle from Pien, Helsinki. Hazy amber with a white head. Aroma of dark bread, light wood and some earth. The same in the taste. The body was on the light side. An ok one.

Draught@ Taproom United. Aroma has tar, licorice and smoke. Flavour has tar, smoke, licorice and some malty tones. Easy-going smoked - one of the best finnish ones. If not the best. Well, perhaps tuhtipukki is better if you count that one.
