About
Founded in 1784 by Jean Baptiste De Bruin and still a family brewery to this day; known as Brouwerij Schelfaut until 1919, when the name was changed to Brouwerij Bios by Paul Van Steenberge, who became the head of the operation in 1922. Currently operated by his great-grandson Jef Versele (since 1998). Underwent many technical upgrades and expansions since then, most notably in 2017 when new buildings were installed and production capacity was significantly increased.

Slightly hazy pale pour with a stable white head. Cloves, orange, banana and some other spices - very nice

Bottle 0,75ltr: Decent Belgian Ale thats easy to drink, one of the middle of the road.

Bottle 0,3ltr: Quite nice pilsener that has light green colour, nice sweetness, They must sells this one at St.Patricks Day.

Bottle 0,75ltr: This one was almost forgotton beer i found in mine cellar, the bottles says best before 2004 and its was still drinkable. Dark brown ale with a red glow in it and not so bitter and very sweet almost like liqueur. Now i must drink one thats newly brewed and bottled.
