Tap at Devassa, Ipanema. It pours amber, with a thin white head. The nose is lemon soap, metal and sweet fruity malt. The taste is hay, straw, sweet malt, soap, dishwater, and metal, with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. The worst beer I have had from Devassa.

Tap at Devassa Ipanema. It pours amber, with a thin off-white head. The nose is metal, caramel, raisin, currant and some citrus. The taste is lime, kiwi, currant, raisin, caramel, citrus tang, metal and a touch of bitterness, with a dry finish. Medium body and mod-high carbonation. Not sure if I would call this an IPA. Not actually that bad, there is some decent fruit and it’s easy drinking.

Draught at the brewpub
Amber color. Some caramel flavor, very light malt and roasted malt; ordinary bitterness. At the end, a touch of honey. Would be an ordinary Lager, maybe a dark blond Kellerbier.

Negra Dark Ale
Draught at the brewpub

Dark brown color. Very light caramel and roasted malt, also very light dark malt sourness. More like a poor Dunkel than an Ale.
