Bottle. Pours faintly cloudy rich yellow with small foamy white head, very faint citrus aroma, medium carbonation, mildly bitter taste with faintly piney hay taste, thin body, long finish. Meh.

Bottle. Pours hazy lemon yellow with small foamy white head, lemon peel aroma, high carbonation, bitter lemon peel taste with faint pineapple flavor, thin body, long bitter lemon peel finish. Not too bad for a macro.

30/7/2021. Bottle at Galata, Harwich. Pours clear golden with a frothy white head. Aroma of malt, grain, corn, citrus, grass. Medium sweetness and light bitterness. Moderate body, above average carbonation, Nice find.

I've had a few variants of Tuborg Gold, including in Turkey, so not exactly thinking I'm getting anything genuinely new here, but a slight variation for the Canadian market, sure why not. Can from the LDB. Dark gold colour, with a head that doesn't really last. Has a grainy-malty aroma. On the palate, it leads with malt. Has some of that sourness common in industrial lagers, along with grainy notes. Low bitterness. Bland and relatively inoffensive.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from my local Turkish shop. Pours crystal clear honeyed gold with a small, foamy white head. Light sweet flavour with pleasant, simple biscuity notes, cereal, pale grains, bread, a hint of straw bitterness. Light bodied with average carbonation. Pretty clean in the finish, notes of sun-kissed malts, hay, biscuits. Quite drinkable stuff, it must be said.
