Dullish dark gold with no head. Little carbonation. Sugary, plasticy aroma is somewhat unpleasant. Sweet palate and harsh alcohol. Thick body. Lightly plasticy finish but really quite unpleasant.

Smells like wet socks and alcohol. But it has a nice look to it, with a good head. Flavour is all right with some hops taste, a bit of alcohol, and a dry finish. It’s an okay lager and good for a hot day.

500ml bottle from a mini marked in Istanbul. Pours a clear, light golden body with a white, rapidly collapsing, head. A vague smell of (sour) grass can be stirred up. Dry metallic flavour of fruit and grain. High carbonation level. Feels empty in the mouth (20.07.2009).

500ml red can from a Tuborg kiosk in Istanbul. Clear golden with spotty floaters on the surface. Mild smell of grass. Citric flavour with malty sweetness. Noticeable heating from the alcohol. Medium bodied. Unvaried. Possible to drink - without greater enjoyment (hotel room, 20.07.2009).

500ml can, 3.5% abv, airborne from Izmir, thanks to Eva. Light yellow body. Loose white froth, quickly reduced to a filmy layer. Smell of cowshed. Some notes of metallic oversweet fruits in flavour. No finish, whatsoever. Thin soft drink and cheap tasting. Did not empty the can. Not the right partner to pizza, I changed to a decent red wine (Tromsø, 06.06.2009).

Canned in Oyodumasi, Ghana. Clear pale yellow, rich head. Vodka aroma. Sweet and lightly fruity with extreme alcohol flavour. Warming and peppery with burning petrol in the finish. More like straight vodka than beer.
