0.5 l bottle Marko got at the Romanian border. It poured golden body with tiny head. Weaker grainy aroma, somewhat herbal. Flavor was grainy, but fine, sweetish fruity malty with notes of herbal hops. Biscuity as well. Medium bodied, fuller if you consider the style, with long grainy and sweetish honey finish. Not bad at all, though quite strange and atypical. I liked that character this time.

Oziegovici pentru Baiici, borderul romanesc. Tiny head, went immediately. Pale golden body. Nice sweetish herbal nose. Herbal, passionfruity taste, slightly dull. Noticable hoppy bitterness. Better than expected, quite a bit.

2l-PET bottle. Clear brown colour with an amber glow and a fluffy off-white head. Lovely aroma of chocolate and dark malts. Full-bodied, hopy, with a dry mouthfeel and pleasant flavours of liquorice, chocolate, caramel and roasetd malts. Slightly hoppy. Despite its high ABV the alcohol appears only in a warming shadow. Quite nice!

Bottle bought from random grocery shop in Romania. Dark ruby red color, good creamy beige head, lace. Light papery aroma. Some caramel, light licorice, strong metallic flavor. Aftertaste is a bit sweet. Not too bad for being PET-bottled Romanian.

Golden color, small white head. Grassy hoppy aroma. Starts a bit metallic, slighlty malty with grassy hoppyness. Not bad from PET bottle, well, _bad_, I mean not so bad than I was afraid of :)

Bottle. 50cl PET, shared by larsga. It pours a blood-reddish black body, or maybe it’s just copper ;-), anyway, it’s topped by a small, beige head. The aroma has toffee, some grains and alcohol. There’s toffee in the flavor too, some roasted malt, as well as a touch of fruits and alcohol. Medium boudy. Wee touch of alcohol in the finish as well as an even weaker burnt note, and toffee. Drinkable, but far from a great brew. (080216)

Medium offwhite head. Dark red body. Roasty toffee and caramel aroma with syrupy, grassy notes. Dryish-sweetish roasty caramelly grainy taste with papery rubbery notes. Decent, but not really good. (0.5l PET bottle bought outside Bran castle, Romania.)

Bottled- PET. Clear ruby, small head. Fruity coffee aroma. Medium sweet with clean mouthfeel and solid body. Quite potent with concentrated roasty malt character. Some dusty bitterness. Rough around the edges, but still a welcome break with the stream of pale lagers in Romania.
