Can from Damián bottle shop A pleasant one. Sweetish but hoppy, full bodied, quite visible alcohol, but tasty

Botted. Hazy pale amber, rich creamy head. Rich aroma of grapefruit with notes of tropical fruits. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Zesty citrus, fruity malt. Piney bitter finish, Thoroughly well made.

Bottle. Dark amber color with small white head. Aroma of caramel, hops. Taste, caramel malt, too sweet for me. Medium bodied. No hops. Still OK beer.

Bottle at a tasting in Damian. Mostly malty, caramelly, red sugary character. Med-full body, moderate carbonation. Slow-drinking, but good, but not great. Hops in the background, if any.

Tap at a tasting at Damian, 2019 version. Full body, med-high carbonation. Loads of chocolate and toffee malt flavours definitely on the sweet side. Tasty, good one, but sipping. Basically no bitter balance. Good but not great.

Tap at a tasting at Damian. Very close to my vision of DIPA. Light warmth present, but overall ABV hidden well. Some caramelly sugary maltiness present, but overall well below the hops levels in all respects. High bitterness, yet feeling rounded. Lots of juicy exotic citrusy zesty hops character. Relatively easy drinking. Very good.
