Bottle as shown. Pours a cloudy orange copper with a large frothy off white head that lasts awhile and leaves behind good sticky lacing on the glass. The aroma is floral hops with honey and citrus. Medium bodied with a sweet hop taste with caramel and citrus and a nice smooth finish. Easy to drink and hides the alcohol well. A very good IPA from Michigan Brewing Company.

Bottle 0,355l as Michgan Summer Ale. Dark golden colored. A large fluffy head leaving patterns on the glass. Sweet hoppy & fruity aroma. Fruity flavor of citrus. Sweet but some fruity bitterness. Good! KI=6

Bottled. An unclear golden beer with a white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of wheat and oranges. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of wheat, leading to a dry wheaty finish. Thanks joergen for sharing.

Sampledat the Hopsnobbery Collective Stout tasting on 01/16/09. This brew pours brownish black with a medium thin and fizzy beige head that burns away quickly. Latticework lacing. Milk chocolate and mild coffee in the nose. Thin body for a Stout and sort of creamy, with flavors of roasted coffee and malt. Just a touch of hops as well. The finish is short and roasty with a mild coffee aftertaste. Just average overall.

Bottle from the wine shop at Bavarian Inn. The beer pours dark brown with a thin and foamy beige head that recedes slowly. Sticky sheet of lacing on the glass. The aroma is roasty with notes of malt and chocolate. Medium body that gets progressively thinner. There is a roasty chocolate malt character with traces of hops. The finish is dry with a roasted coffee aftertaste that is short-lived. Decent overall.

bottle - I had this one side by side with Otter Creek Pale Ale. This brew pours hazy copper with a one finger fading white head. It has a caramel malt aroma with a little citrus. The flavor has some good, crisp citrus hops along with the sweet caramel malt. The bitterness is fairly low but it’s very well balanced. It’s a nice beer and in my opinion it’s a little underrated here.

bottle - Pours lightly hazy copper with a one finger, lingering white head. It has a pleasant aroma dominated by grapefruit accented hops. The flavor is also led by grapefruit hops along with some sweet malt and hints of pine and caramel. It’s medium bodied, well balanced, and overall a very solid IPA.

bottle - Pours amber-brown with a thin tan head. It has a nice caramel malt aroma. The flavor is the expected sweet caramel nut malt with minimal hops. It’s light bodied and could use more to it, but let it warm up for awhile and it holds up decently.
