(Cask at Cask Pub & Kitchen, Pimlico, London, 26 Apr 2013) Amber colour with foamy, beige head. Malty nose with caramel, nuts, orange and apricots. Malty taste with notes of apricots, caramel, nuts and a slightly dusty bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Quite nice.

Gravity at the the fullerians rugby club bree fest. Toffee honey aroma. Sweet. Golden colour loose white head. Some toffee. Astringent. Firm bitterness. Dome medicinal flavour .

Cask at CBI, London on 23rd February 2013. Deep ruby with quick dying head. Berries and vanilla aroma. Vanilla and spice in mouth.Smooth fruity finish. Velvet mouthfeel.

Cask at Craft Beer Co Islington. It pours near black, with a small beige head. The nose is roasted malt, smoke, toast and coffee. The taste is soft roast, dark fruit, toast, ash, plastic, some astringency and coffee grinds with a very dry finish. Light-medium body and soft carbonation. Ok.

Cask at Craft Islington, 21/02/13. Very lightly hazed mid golden/amber with a decent sized bubbly white head. Nose is pale malts, grass, light summer fruit, apples. Taste comprises pale malt, apples, fruit, straw, light sugars. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation, some bitterness in the finish. Just a shade above average.

Cask at CBI, London on 20th February 2013. Slightly hazy gold with thin whitish film and lacing bands. Yeasty and citric liqiuid with mild spices, almost like a wheatbeer or saison. Quite fruity and hoppy finish with sweet malts. Zingy mouthfeel and medium body.

Cask at GBBF 2012, London. Pours clear, bright yellow with a fine, white foam head. Rich straw nose, some toasty white sugars. Medium sweet flavor with white bread, very light hay bitterness. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish with further mild hay bitterness. Nice.

Bottle 500ml.Clear dark red brown colour with a average to large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate malt, dusty. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, dry, roasted malt, dark roasted, chocolate malt. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120915]
